In Malta we have many monuments that make us proud of our Islands. We have the Neolithic temples scattered through the island, which go back to the year 5000B.C. Of them the Ggantija temple in Gozo is the one of the oldest temples in the world. Then we have famous cities like Valletta (the new capital of the island) and Mdina (the old capital of the island). For its beauties and history Valletta is considered to be one of the world most famous heritage cities, its beauties are compared to those of Vienna, Florence, Venice etc. | About Maltese Language: In Malta we speak our own language which is Maltese. It�s a mixture of Semitic (Arabic) around 70% of it, and Romantic (Italian, French, English, Spanish etc.) 30% of the language. But the European influence is increasing the Romantic words.
